With the exception of our family-oriented departures, our trips are tailored exclusively for adults. We maintain a policy of not mixing families with singles, couples, or other groups during our standard departures.
However, we extend a warm welcome to individuals, couples, or groups to join our family departures if the scheduled departure date aligns with their preferences.
Age restrictions may vary depending on the trip. Please check the specific trip details for age requirements. Children under a certain age may need to be accompanied by an adult.

Rab Island has great connections with the mainland, nearby airports and cities. Within a 3 hour drive there are 3 airports (Rijeka, Zadar and Zagreb), there are two ferry ports (Valbiska on Krk Island and Stinici on the mainland) and two catamaran lines (from Rijeka and Zadar). Ferry rides are frequent (every hour and more often in summer) and the catamaran lines are once per day (Zadar line active only in summer).
If coming from Rijeka you can come with a Bus or with a catamaran that leaves Rijeka harbour in the afternoon. The catamaran line from Zadar is operating in the summer months.
If you're arriving from Zagreb (capital) than you can take a Bus to Rab. It will take you 3-4 hours to get here, and there are usually two lines daily.
You could also rent a car or arrange with us to organize a transfer.
If you're arriving from Dalmatia (Split or Zadar) than we suggest to take a Bus. There are no direct bus lines from Dalmatia to Rab Island so buy a ticket to Rijeka or Senj, then exit the bus near the Stinica port. You'll have to walk or hitchike to Ferry port. It is ca 3 km's to the port.
The ferry ride from Stinica Port to Rab Island's south point typically takes around 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the ferry from Valbiska on the Island of Krk, connected to the mainland by a bridge, takes approximately 80 minutes to reach Rab's northern point and the Lopar harbor.
The availability of parking options depends on the tour's start location, and specific details can be found in the extra notes of each trip.
If you're arriving by car to Rab Island, you have several options:
You can park your vehicle safely for free at a nearby parking lot, subject to availability.
Alternatively, there are paid parking spaces available inside the campsite near our starting point, priced at around 10€ per day.
Additionally, you have the option to leave your car at our neighbor's parking lot for a fee of 7€ per day.
Please refer to the extra notes section of your specific tour for detailed information on parking arrangements.
You have the option to leave your suitcases and backpacks at our base for free. Alternatively, depending on the starting point of the tour, we can safely store them for you and bring them to the end of the tour. Rest assured, your belongings will be securely handled throughout the duration of the tour.
We prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants on our sea kayaking trips, including those with special dietary requirements or allergies. To ensure everyone's needs are met, we collect detailed information about dietary restrictions and allergies through our medical form during the booking proces. This allows us to tailor our meal preparations accordingly, accommodating various dietary needs while ensuring safety, especially in cases of allergies. Our experienced guides are trained to handle dietary restrictions and will work closely with participants to ensure their dietary needs are met throughout the trip. By gathering this information in advance, we can provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Cancellation policies vary depending on the tour. Full details are provided during booking and in your confirmation email.

Our tours are moderately active and focus on enjoyment rather than performance. Daily distances and elevation gains are planned to allow plenty of breaks, swimming, photo stops, and time to relax. If a trip is more demanding, this will be clearly stated in the trip description.
All Perun Adventures guides are licensed professionals with extensive local knowledge of the Velebit mountains, Adriatic islands, and surrounding terrain. They are trained in safety procedures, first aid, navigation, and group management, and they know how to adapt the day to the conditions and the group.
